Many times, home buyers look for ideas in plan books or home plan websites. Literally thousands of plans can be browsed only to find a select few that only generally approximate the style, layout and overall design criteria desired.
At Terry C Design Services, we would like to get to know you and your family, the home you live in now, how you might improve it if you were to remodel, and what you would like to see in your dream home. We like to get a good look at the property you will be building on. Of course, if you do have ideas from searching endless lists of home plans, we would like to hear about those too. We wish to take every opportunity to design it just the way you dream it.

We start with a blank sheet, considering everything about your dream home, including the building site, available views and access as well as out door living space. A preliminary floor plan layout is then created and presented in 2D along with 3D overviews to provide a more lifelike impression. All this is delivered via e-mail in pdf and jpg formats for easy viewing and printing conveniently from your office or home computer. Now is the time to fine tune the interior layout.
We then build a roof line and provide basic exterior 3D views of all sides of the building. Take your time, look it over and capitalize on the opportunity to make it your dream. This may be the one for life.
With approval of these preliminary concepts, we move forward with structural design and the creation of construction documents.
Always, during the process, you have an open line of communication with the designer any time you have an idea or requested revision. We do the revisions for you in the virtual house, on the computer screen, so that you don't have to pay for them on the construction site.
If you are inclined to try your hand at creating your own home plan layout, variable non-professional versions of our software is available at home designer software . We can view and fine tune files that you create on that software and then carry your plan through to construction documents.
